Marilyn (singer)

Marilyn ( born November 3, 1962 in Kingston, Jamaica; actually Peter Anthony Robinson ) is a British pop singer who was known in 1983 with the song Calling Your Name.

Biography

Robinson grew up in Hertfordshire, UK on near the Elstree Film Studios, where his mother worked as a production assistant.

Later, he hoofed it with artists such as Boy George, Steve Strange and Jeremy Healy through the London club scene. In its presentation, with long blond dreadlocks he fell in 1983 the representatives of a record company. At this time, Marilyn had already exist some demo tapes, and his old friend Boy George introduced him now before the English press.
