Mário Figueira Fernandes

Mário Figueira Fernandes ( born September 19, 1990 in São Caetano do Sul ) is a Brazilian footballer who is currently with the Russian club CSKA Moscow under contract. He plays the position of right-back or in central defense.

Career

The youth spent Mário Fernandes at his hometown club São Caetano. Finally, he was obliged, 2009 by Gremio, where he still made ​​his professional debut against Sport Recife in the Série A in the same year. With good performances in Brazil, some European top clubs were aware of the talent, so he joined in the summer of 2012 for a transfer fee of about € 15 million to Russia for CSKA Moscow.
