Mario Gigante

Mario Gigante (* November 4, 1923 ) is a senior member of the U.S. Cosa Nostra in New York City and was head of the Genovese family.

Gigante is one of five sons of the watchmaker Salvatore Gigante and the seamstress Yolanda Gigante, who immigrated from Naples to New York City. He is the older brother of former family head Vincent Gigante. Due to his age, it is assumed that his retreat as the boss; as a subsequent supreme head is Daniel Leo.
