Mario Sorrenti

Mario Sorrenti ( born October 24, 1971 in Naples, Italy) is an American photographer and director whose photo series attracted attention with nude photo models in the fashion drawing fonts Vogue and Harper 's Bazaar.

Life

Sorrenti was born in Naples, the son of the display agent Francesca Sorrenti. When he was ten years old he went with his mother to New York City, where he still lives and works today.

To Sorrentis known works include commercials for the fashion brand Calvin Klein, see photos with the photo model Kate Moss for the perfume "Obsession" and for the Pirelli calendar of 2012. He is currently working exclusively for the advertising agency Art Partner after he previously for brands such as Lancôme, Paco Rabanne and Benetton had photographed.

For various music productions Sorrenti was responsible since 1995, the photographs, for example for " Fijación Oral Vol 1" by Shakira and other music publications.

Sorrenti is the older brother of the fashion photographer Davide Sorrenti ( 1976-1997 ), who died from an overdose of heroin in 1997.
