Marios Athanasiadis

Marios Athanasiades ( born October 31, 1986 in Nicosia) is a Cypriot mountain bikers and road cyclists.

Marios Athanasiades in 2003 the Cypriot champions in Cross Country Junior class. From 2004 he drove for the Bikin'Cyprus International MTB Team, where he also won the national title in cross country at the elite class in his first year. The next year Athanasiades the Kos Cup won on the Greek island of Kos. In 2006 he was for the second time national champion in cross country.

Since 2008 drives Athanasiades for the Cypriot Continental Team A-Style Somn. In his first year there, he was third in the National Championship in the time trial. He also won the first stage of the Tour of Central Macedonia and was second in the overall standings.

In the games of the small states of Europe Athanasiades won the Cross Country Competition 2005 Bronze Medal, 2009 Gold Medal and 2011, and 2013, respectively the silver medal.
