Marissa Mayer

Marissa Ann Mayer (* May 30, 1975 in Wausau, Wisconsin) is an American computer scientist and manager residing in Palo Alto, California. Since July 2012 she is CEO of Yahoo, before that, she was Vice President at Google Inc.

Marissa Mayer was considered a "public face" of Google. In 2008, she was from the U.S. business magazine Fortune for the first time - and at that time the youngest - ranked among the 50 most powerful women in the world. Newsweek counted among the " 10 Tech Leaders of the Future".

Life

Mayer studied at Stanford University computer science and worked in Switzerland for UBS and Research Lab in Menlo Park ( USA) at SRI International.
