Mariusz Wach

Mariusz Wach ( born December 14, 1979 in Kraków ) is a Polish professional boxer in the heavyweight division.

As an amateur wax was 2003 and 2004 Polish champion in the super heavyweight division, he also won the 2004 and the silver medal in the super heavyweight at the 2nd European Championships in Madrid. He was defeated in the finals while only Roberto Cammarelle.

Through a knockout win in the fourth round against Kevin McBride on July 29, 2011, he won the vacant WBC International title. On November 10, 2012 boxed wax in the O2 World Hamburg against Wladimir Klitschko for the world title on the version of the IBF, WBO, WBA and IBO. He lost the fight by unanimous decision, which meant the first defeat in his career as a professional.
