Marja Vis

Marja Vis ( Vis Antje Maria Margaretha, born January 15, 1977 in Hoorn ) is a Dutch specialized in long-distance, speed skater.

An all rounder, Marja Vis debuted in January 2000 at the World Cup in Calgary. Previously she could not win a World Cup, but it was three times Second, once of them with the team. In the 2001 / 02 season, she won over the 3000/5000 meter sixth place in the overall World Cup. In the all-around European Championships in 2002 and 2003 she won the sixth place, respectively, in the all-around world championships 2002 the ninth, tenth in 2003. Three times she was Dutch Champion, six times runner-up twice and third parties.
