Mark Borowiecki

Mark Borowiecki ( born July 12, 1989 in Kanata, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since March 2011 the Ottawa Senators in the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Borowiecki was initially from 2006 to 2008 for the Smiths Falls Bears of the Central Junior Hockey League is active, before he began studying at Clarkson University in port and for the ice hockey team, which, in the ECAC Hockey Clarkson Knights went on the ice. Even before the defender at the NHL Entry Draft in 2008 in the fifth round was chosen at a total of 139 position of the Ottawa Senators. In his last season in the university team, the season 2010/ 11, the left gunner ran as their team captain on the ice. In March 2011, the Canadians signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Ottawa Senators and debuted in the same season for their AHL farm team, the Binghamton Senators, at the professional level. In addition to nine games in the regular season Borowiecki completed 21 encounters in the AHL playoffs of the 2010/11 season and won the Calder Cup with Binghamton.

In the following season the links shooter on the AHL All- Star Classic took part and ran 19 January 2012 for the first time for the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League on the ice, with the rookie in the away game against the San Jose Sharks a defender pair with veteran Chris Phillips formed.
