Mark Buchanan

Mark Buchanan ( born October 31, 1961 in Cleveland, Ohio) is an American physicist and author.

He studied theoretical physics at the University of Virginia, USA, where he also received his doctorate in 1993. As of 1995, living in Britain, he worked as a science writer and editor for the journal Nature, then for the popular science magazine New Scientist. He currently writes a monthly column for the journal Nature Physics.

Today Buchanan is a freelance writer in Normandy in France. He has published four books.

It is not identical with the same name living in Canada and also a writer make Pastor Mark Buchanan.
