Mark McGrath

Mark Sayers McGrath ( born March 15, 1968 in Hartford, Connecticut ) is the lead singer of the American rock band Sugar Ray. Currently, he hosts the American TV show Extra.

He was born in Hartford, but grew up in California. He received his high school degree at the Corona del Mar High School and then studied at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He worked as a truck driver before he had his first major success as a musician.

Prior to his moderation activities, he had several guest appearances in television series such as Las Vegas and was in the 2004 guest jury member at the music show American Idol. In Germany, he was primarily known for the duet " Party for Two" with Shania Twain.
