Mark Wills
Mark Wills ( born August 8, 1973 in Cleveland, Tennessee) is an American country singer.
Mark Williams won the age of seventeen a talent competition, which earned him a multi-year commitment in a music club. In 1996 he received a recording contract from Mercury Nashville label. Already with his first CD, Mark Wills, he made the breakthrough. The single from Jacob's Ladder reached a leading position on the country charts. In 2003, he lost his Mercury contract. Three years later he signed to Equity.
But the really big success was the interpreter of gentle, sensitive country songs failed. Mark Wills never managed to step out of the shadow of its big competitors such as Tim McGraw and Alan Jackson.
In the spring of 2008 Mark Wills signed a recording contract with the Hamburg label AGR Television Records, published in September the album "Familiar Stranger".
