Marko Devic (Ukrainian Марко Девич / Marko Dewitsch, Serbian Марко Девић, Russian Марко Девич, born October 27, 1983 in Belgrade, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Ukrainian footballer of Serbian descent on the position of midfielder.

Devic began his career in Belgrade. His first club was FK Zvezdara. Later he played with FK Železnik, FK Radnički Jugopetrol and FK Voždovcu.

Careers in Ukraine

2005 Marko Devic was committed by the Ukrainian club Volyn Lutsk, who played in the Ukrainian first division ( Premjer - Liha ). At the end of the season Devic returned to Serbia. Shortly thereafter undertook coach Myron Markewytsch the striker for the Ukrainian club Metalist Kharkiv East. In the 2007 /08 season has been Marko Devic scorer in the league with 19 goals in 27 games. For the 2008/09 season Devic had a bad start, but in the 13th game, he scored two goals against Chernomorets Odessa. So he came at the end of the season still to eight goals in 24 missions. In the 2010/11 season he scored 13 goals in 24 games in the following season there were 11 goals in 26 games. In addition there were five goals in the Europa League. For the 2012/2013 season he moved to Shakhtar Donetsk.

For the second half of the season 2012/2013 he moved back to Metalist Kharkiv

National

In June 2008, Marko Devic received Ukrainian citizenship so that he could play for the Ukrainian national team. A little later the nomination followed by coach Olexij Mychajlytschenko, so he played his first international match against Norway on 19 November 2008.

Devic was in the squad of the Ukrainian team at the European Championships in 2012 and came in all three group matches are used.
