Markus Hasler

Markus Hasler ( born November 3, 1971 in ash ) is a cross-country skiers of Liechtenstein, who competes for the Unterländer WSV.

Already since 1979 Markus Hasler stands on cross-country skis. In 1992 he celebrated his debut in the Cross Country World Cup and participated in his first Olympic Games. His best career result was a third place at the Sprint World Cup 2001 Italian Cogne. During a fall in the World Cup pursuit race in Sapporo 2007, the Liechtenstein suffered a severe injury of the shoulder. It was not until the following season Hasler could slowly find their way back to the old power and launched at Ski Marathon and the World Cup in Falun.

In the years 1996 and 2003 he was elected to Liechtenstein each Athlete of the Year.
