Marloes Coenen

Marloes Coenen ( born March 31, 1981 in Olst ) is a Dutch mixed martial arts fighter. In October 2009, she was out in second place of the Wamma Women's rankings in the featherweight class of the ladies.

Career

Coenen began her MMA career in 2000. She took a large part of her career over in Japan, for operators such as ReMix and Shooto. They met, among other things, Erin Toughill and Roxanne Modafferi. The end of 2009 she went to Strikeforce, where she first Modafferi beat and then in January 2010, lost a title fight against Cristiane Santos. In October she beat Sarah Kaufmann for the Womens Welterweight Belt and defended that in March 2011 against Liz Carmouche. Thus, it achieved a competition record of 19 wins and four losses.
