Marshal of Poland ( Polski Marszalek ) is the highest military rank of the Polish armed forces, to which only six officers were appointed. Nowadays the rank with the title of Field Marshal or General is equivalent to the army (OF -10) in other NATO armies.
History
Nowadays no one is living in the rank of Marshal of Poland more, as this rank was awarded after a war victory of Commander. However, the general's rank was introduced and awarded to the former Chief of Staff of the Polish Armed Forces Czesław piatas.
