Marshal of the Royal Air Force is the highest rank of the British Royal Air Force. His counterparts in the Army and Navy are the Field Marshal and Admiral of the Fleet. The NATO rank code is OF- 10th

The rank is awarded in peacetime only in exceptional cases. Most carriers were Chief of the Defence Staff or the Chief of the Air Staff shortly before her decommissioning or Royals.
