Marta Etura
Marta Etura ( born October 28, 1978 in Donostia- San Sebastián, Spain as Marta Etura Palenzuela ) is a Spanish actress.
She was discovered at age seventeen and then visited the Cristina Rota Acting School. Her first movie role she held in 2001 under the direction Joaquín Oristrells in Sin vergüenza. In the thriller When the clock strikes 13, she played in 2002 as well as in the drama La Vida de nadie. For her performance in the latter film, she was the most important Spanish film award, the Goya, as " Best Young Actress " nomination.
Etura played from 2001 to 2006 in over ten films and also acted on television and in the theater. For her supporting role in Patricia Ferreira Para que no me olvides she was nominated for the Premio del Círculo de Escritores Cinematográficos and again for the Goya.
In Daniel Sánchez Arévalos directorial debut Dark Blue Almost Black 2006 she had a starring role. Etura embodied a woman under arrest, who wants to become pregnant in order to go to the mother - child ward of her prison can. Another time, she received nominations for Premio del Círculo de Escritores Cinematográficos and Goya, but other actresses had to concede defeat. In 2006 she was awarded the Shooting Star Award for the best European young actor, awarded by European Film Promotion.
In 2010 she won her first Goya ( Best Supporting Actress ) for her role in Cell 211
