Martha Komu

Martha Komu (born 23 March 1983) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in the marathon.

After victories in Marseille - Cassis 2006 and the Reims Marathon in 2006 and 2007 she succeeded in 2008 an even greater success when she won the Paris Marathon in 2:25:29 h, where she improved her personal best by more than seven minutes. In a marathon, the Olympic Games in Beijing, she was separated fifth in 2:27:23, just 16 seconds from the bronze medal.
