Martin France

Martin France ( * February 29 1964 in Rainham / Kent ) is an English jazz drummer.

France initially accompanied singers in organ trios. He came to work with Evan Parker and Kenny Wheeler to the ECM label, in which he recorded with his band First House since 1983. He toured with various bands of the label, and became a member of the band Projects Human Chain Loose Tubes and his friend Django Bates.
