John Parricelli

John Parricelli ( born April 5, 1959 in Evesham ) is a British jazz guitarist who toured internationally and occurs mainly as a sideman.

Parricelli began his professional musical career as a guitarist in 1982. He was a founding member of the British big band Loose Tubes with which he recorded three albums. Among other things, he played with Annie Whitehead, Kenny Wheeler, Norma Winstone, Lee Konitz, Paul Motian, Tim Whitehead, Chris Laurence, Eddie Parker, Peter Erskine, Vince Mendoza, Julian Arguelles, Iain Ballamy 's Acme, the Mark Lockheart Quartet, Andy Sheppard, Colin Towns and the Martin Speake Quintet.

Since 1997, he has delivered numerous contributions as a musician, film music, for example, for Billy Elliot - I Will Dance ( 2000), The proof - love between genius and madness (2005), Happy-Go- Lucky or Milk (both 2008).

As a member of the formation Lars Danielsson - Tarantella Parricelli plays alongside trumpeter Mathias Eick and pianist Leszek Możdżer at the Festival Jazz Baltica 2010.
