Martin John Amos

Martin John Amos ( born December 8, 1941 in Cleveland) is a bishop of Davenport.

Life

The Bishop of Cleveland, Clarence George Issenmann, ordained him a priest on 25 May 1968.

Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop on 3 April 2001 in Cleveland and Titular Bishop of Meta. The Bishop of Cleveland, Anthony Michael Pilla, donated to him on June 7 of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Alexander James Quinn, Auxiliary Bishop of Cleveland, and Anthony Edward Pevec, retired Auxiliary Bishop of Cleveland.

On 12 October 2006 he was appointed bishop of Davenport and is introduced into the office on 20 November of the same year.
