Martin Krumbiegel
Martin Krumbiegel (* 1963 in Leipzig ) is a German musician and musicologist. It comes as Sebastian Krumbiegel, his three years younger brother, from a music affine family.
Life
From 1973 to 1982 he was a member of the Leipzig Thomanerchores. A study of musicology at the University of Leipzig he graduated in 1994 with a doctorate. In addition Krumbiegel completed a private vocal training with Andrew Sommerfeld.
Since 1987 he is as a concert and oratorio singer (tenor ), including appearances with the Leipzig Gewandhaus, the Schauspielhaus Berlin, at the Semperoper Dresden and the Cologne Philharmonic committed. He contributes regularly as a soloist with the Bach cantata performances of Thomanerchores. Tours abroad led him to the Czech Republic, France, Holland, Sweden and Lithuania.
