Martin Petrov ( Bulg: Мартин Петров, English transcription Martin Petrov, born January 15, 1979 in Vratsa ) is a Bulgarian football player.

Career

Association

Petrov started at Botev Vratsa with the football game. Still a teenager, he moved to CSKA Sofia giants. At the beginning of 1999 he went to Switzerland to Servette Geneva. In 2001 he moved to the Bundesliga for VfL Wolfsburg, for whom he scored 28 goals and 36 Assists in 116 games. End of July 2005 changed Petrov then Atlético Madrid.
