Martin Reim

Martin Reim ( born May 14, 1971 in Tallinn ) is a former Estonian football player and current coach. He 's a record player of the Estonian national team.

Career

The 1.67 -meter rhyme began his professional career at Norma Tallinn and moved in 1991 after winning the Estonian championship for the city rivals Flora Tallinn. In Flora he played until June 1999, then moved to Kotkan Työväen Palloilijat to Finland and returned in January 2001. He plays since then for Flora, with whom he got up to today 12 national titles, including seven times the Estonian Championship.

In the Estonian national team, for whom he played from 1992 to 2007 and then again in 2009, rhyming is a record player with 157 inserts. He is also the player with most international matches around the world, who never participated in a major international tournament. A similar fate divides his compatriot Marko Kristal, who played 143 international matches and his career has now ended.

On 7 February 2007 he made his 150th international match, a European record of Lothar Matthäus. On 22 August 2007, he increased his record to 151 games and expanded it until June 6, 2009 at 157 games. On 14 November 2009, he was replaced by the Latvian players Vitālijs Astafjevs as a European 's most capped player.
