Martin Schumnig
Schumnig Martin ( born July 28, 1989 in Klagenfurt) is an Austrian ice hockey player who played in the EC KAC in the Austrian Hockey League.
Career
Schumnig began his career in the various youth teams of the EC KAC and debuted in the 2006/07 season in the first team. In the following years it was used repeatedly for some games in the Erste Bank Liga and also showed in the junior league better and better services. In the 2008 /09 season he moved up to the fixed defenders and could celebrate this season the U20 team with the combat and two league titles.
In June 2013 he released his contract with the EC KAC in mutual agreement to go to North America.
Schumnig also recorded two other meetings in the junior national team and completed a total of ten games.

- 2009 Austrian Champion with the EC KAC
- 2012 promotion to the top division at the World Championship of Division IA
- 2013 Austrian Champion with the EC KAC
