Martin Sharp

Martin Sharp Ritchie ( born January 21, 1942 in Sydney, † December 1, 2013 ) was an Australian cartoonist, songwriter and film-maker. He was considered one of the most important artists in Australia in the 20th century and was known by the designs of the psychedelic poster of Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan, as well as the album cover for the album Disraeli Gears of group Cream. In 1968 he turned his short film Darling, Do You Love Me? with Germaine Greer in the lead role.
