Martin Sorrell

Sir Martin Sorrell Stuart ( born February 14, 1945 in London, United Kingdom) is a British entrepreneur and Chief Executive Officer ( CEO) of the WPP Group.

Life

Sorrell was educated at Christ's College, University of Cambridge and at Harvard University, where he graduated with a Master of Business Administration.

He worked from 1968 to 1969 at Glendinning Associates, then from 1970 to 1974 with Mark McCormack from 1975 to 1977 James Gulliver Associates. From 1977 he worked in the advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi.

1985 Sorrell privately invested in micro-enterprises Wire and Plastic Products Plc, which had previously made ​​baskets.
