Martinsrieth is a district of the municipality Wallenhausen in the district of Mansfeld - South Harz in Saxony- Anhalt, Germany.

Geographical Location
Martinsrieth located in the so-called Rieth in the lower Helmetal, northeast of the Kyffhäuser and southwest of the county town Sangerhausen, of leading a connecting road to the village and on to Riethnordhausen.
History
Martinsrieth belonged until 1815 to the Official Sangerhausen the Kingdom of Saxony, and then got to the administrative district of the Prussian province of Saxony Merseburg. From 1952 to 1990 Martinsrieth belonged to the East German district hall.
On 1 July 2009, the previously independent municipalities Martinsrieth and Riethnordhausen were incorporated to Wallenhausen.
