Maruša Krese

Maruša Krese; also Krese - Weidner ( born April 13, 1947 in Ljubljana, Yugoslavia; † January 7, 2013 in Ljubljana, Slovenia) was a Slovene writer and poet.

Life

Maruša Krese studied literature, art history, and psychotherapy in Ljubljana, London and Utrecht. From 1975 to 1989 she was a psychotherapist in Ljubljana, London and Tübingen and was teaching at the University of Ljubljana. From 1990 to 1991 she was a correspondent for the Slovenian Radio in Berlin. From 1992 she worked as a freelance journalist and writer in Berlin. She is a member of the PEN center of Germany.

The commitment of Krese has contributed greatly to ban anti -personnel mines.
