Marusya Ivanova Lyubcheva

Marusya Ivanova Ljubtschewa (Bulgarian: Маруся Любчева, born July 20, 1949 in Mitrowzi, Oblast Montana) is a Bulgarian politician of the Coalition for Bulgaria.

Career

After attending secondary school Ljubtschewa acquired at a university the title of a chemical engineer and received his Dr. rer. tech. At the Assen Slatarow University Burgas she was after her time as a PhD student initially worked as a research assistant and later as a lecturer and dean and was Chair for Materials Science.

Ljubtschewa served on the council from Burgas from 1995 to 2005 she was deputy mayor there. In 2005, she entered the National Assembly. Prior to the accession of Bulgaria to the European Union, she moved in early 2007 as an observer in the European parliament. On 1 January 2007 she received a full-fledged European mandate. In the by-election has become necessary its mandate was confirmed. In 2009, she missed the re-entry, but they moved in August 2013 for the retired Kristian Vigenin after.
