Marvin Potzmann

Marvin Potzmann (born 7 December 1993) is an Austrian football player at the position of midfielder. Since 2011 he plays for SV Mattersburg in the Bundesliga, the highest Austrian league. After the descent of the SV in the summer of 2013 he moved to the newly promoted Bundesliga SV Grödig.

Career

Youth

Potzmann began his career at Post SV Wien, where he was active from 1999 to 2001. In 2001 he moved to the Burgenland for SV Ollersdorf, where he was until 2007 in their youth team. After that, he was inducted into the Academy of Burgenland and came to the youth department of the SV Mattersburg a year later.

Club career

2010 then came the next career move and Potzmann came into the squad of Mattersburger Amateurs in the Regional League East. There he was employed in his first season eleven times. The amateurs were tenth in the league. In the following season, the midfielder matured into a regular player. He was rewarded by the first-team coach Franz Lederer Through these good performances and made ​​his debut in the highest Austrian league 22 May 2011 in the away match against SV Kapfenberg. Potzmann came on in the 67th minute for Ilco Naumoski. The game was lost in Kapfenberg 1:2.

After the descent of the SV Mattersburg in 2013 he moved to SV Grödig that rose in the same year.
