Maximilian Karner (2010)

Maximilian Karner (born 3 January 1990 in Salzburg) is an Austrian football player.

Career

Karner began his career at PSV Salzburg, before he moved to the youth department of Austria Salzburg 2002. Following the acquisition of Red Bull he was only 15 years, was appointed immediately to the second team of Salzburg, the Juniors. He was immediately as a great Salzburg football talent and also starred in the youth national teams from Austria.

In the summer of 2007, he suffered a myocardial inflammation and signed up for a hard recovery phase, during which he was allowed a slight impact on his heart, for 2008 fall season for training at the Juniors back. In spring, however, was the next setback, Karner broke his metatarsal and fell again for 2 months.

For the 2009/10 season, he came back fit and back quickly fought his way to a starting berth under coach Niko Kovac. Through the relegation of the Juniors in the Regional League West and strong performances in the First Division he left Red Bull Salzburg and changed into Innviertel to SV Ried, but was immediately loaned to SV Grödig.

He then returned to the Riedern before he was hired in the summer of 2013 by his former the lending SV Grödig.
