Marysville is a city in Union County, Ohio, United States. It is the county seat of Union County. The population at the 2000 census was 15 942, for 2006, the estimate of the statistical agency was 17.621.
Is named the city after the daughter of the founder of Mary Samuel W. Cuthbertson.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 40.4 km ², of which 40.2 km ² of land and 0.2 km ² waters.
Marysville is located at the crossroads of different highways, they are west by a bypass, bypassed north and east of the center, only the Ohio State Route 38 leads as Main Street in the north-south direction through the center of the city. The ring road is formed by partially overlapping sections of U.S. Highway 33, U.S. Highway 36, Ohio State Route 4. At the bypass end Ohio State Route 31 and Ohio State Route 245, the railroad line of the Penn Central runs through the city, through which the beautiful Mill Creek meanders.
Demography
At the time of the census of 2000, there were 15 942 people Marysville. The population density was 392.3 people per km ². There were 396.3 housing units at an average 5976 per km ².
