Masaaki Tsukada

Masaaki Tsukada (Japanese冢 田 正 昭, Tsukada Masaaki, born December 16, 1938 in Kawasaki, † January 27, 2014 in Yokohama ) was a Japanese voice actor ( seiyū ).

Life

Masaaki Tsukada learned acting at his Engeki Kenkyujo (青年 演剧 研究所), which he completed in 1959 and in 1964 a member of the acting troupe Gekidan Tōgei (剧 団 东 芸). Later he came to the Agency Mouse pad Promotion under contract and moved to the voice acting for anime, as well as the voice acting of foreign films and series.

He was known for his role as Genryusai in the anime series Bleach, as well as in Japan for the Kobayashicha in 1998 running to 2014 series Ojarumaru.

Masaaki Tsukada died on January 27, 2014 after an illness. He left behind his wife Masako Nozawa, who is also a voice actor.
