Masahiro Yoshimura

Masahiro Yoshimura (Japanese吉 村 昌 弘, Masahiro Yoshimura; born October 28, 1936 in Ehime Prefecture, † 27 September 2003) was a Japanese swimmer.

Yoshimura took part in the Summer Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956. In the competition over 200 meters breaststroke, he won the silver medal behind compatriot Masaru Furukawa. In the final he fought a tight race with the Soviet athletes Charis Junitschew for second place, which he with a tenth of a second at the end decided advantage for themselves.
