Massacra

Massacra were a death metal band from Franco Ville, France. Besides Loudblast they were the first French death metal band and also the only ones who could make international attention in the 1990s to be.

History

Founded in 1987 by Fred Duval Massacra, Pascal Jorgensen, Bjorn Crugger and Jean Marc Trisani. After the release of three demo recording, the band received a recording contract with the German music label Shark Records in 1990. 1991 increased from the former drummer Chris Palengat and was replaced by Matthias Limmer. Also Limmert lasted only until 1994 before he was replaced by Björn Crugger. 1997 after the singer Fred Duval ( † 6 June 1997) died of skin cancer, the band broke up.
