Massari

Massari ( born December 10, 1981 in Beirut, Lebanon as Sari Abboud ) is a living in Canada Lebanese R & B singer.

Life

Sari Abboud moved to Montreal at age 10 and at age 13 to Ottawa, where he still lives today. He speaks and sings in English, French and Arabic.

For his songs he takes elements from the styles of music, which have influenced him: Soul and Lebanese music as it was his role model George Wassouf celebrates. For the first single Smile for Me his debut album Massari supported him, the former Bad Boy rapper Loon.

In 2002, he was with the song Spitfire in Ottawa a radio hit.

Three of his singles got into the Canadian Top 20 a, his videos rotate in the Canadian music television, he was nominated for several MuchMusic Awards ( the biggest music channel in Canada ), at the Canadian Urban Music Awards, he was nominated in two categories ( Best New Artist, R & B / Soul Recording of the Year ) and his debut album Massari has been awarded in Canada with gold.

With his second single Be Easy Massari managed the worldwide breakthrough. It was published on 10 March 2006 in Germany, she became a club hit and also managed in the official charts.

Another major success was the single " Brand New Day ( Habibi ) ", which came out in German-speaking countries in the summer of 2013 in the charts.
