Mathias Grassow

Mathias ( Stephan) Grassow (* 1963 ) is a German musician from Wiesbaden.

Grassow internationally as keyboardist known for its production with the ex- Popol Vuh - musician Klaus Wiese. He played in the 1970s, drums and guitar, and increased in the 1980s in order to keyboard. Since the late 1980s, he specialized in drone and multifaceted overtone, explored here their effects on the human psyche ( ancient Indian Nada Yoga ) with the aid of voice, tambura, harp, flutes, singing bowls and homemade instruments. His art is influenced by Eastern philosophy, Sufism, as well as Celtic and shamanic - Northern European music.
