Matilda of Franconia

Matilda of francs (c. 1027; † January 1034 ) was a daughter of Holy Roman Emperor Conrad II and his wife Gisela of Swabia from the Salian dynasty.

At a meeting in Lorraine Deville in May 1033 agreed with the West Frankish / French King Henry I Emperor Conrad II the marriage of his only about five years old daughter with this. To marriage, however, it did not come as Mathilda died in the spring of 1034.

She was buried in the cathedral of Worms.
