Matt Prokop

Matthew " Matt" Prokop ( born July 29, 1990 in Victoria, Texas ) is an American actor, known for his role as Jimmy "The Rocket" Zara in the Disney Channel Original Movie High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

Life

Matt Prokop Prokop Matthew was born in July 1990 in Victoria, Texas. At the age of 16, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of acting. During his childhood, he was an active soccer player and also participated in the school theater at the Victoria Memorial High School. Prokop decided to take acting lessons after a family vacation in May 2005 and went for it to Houston. Finally, he was adopted by an agency. This was followed by guest appearances on Hannah Montana, The Office and in the film An Angel Named Billy. He quickly became a sought after newcomer in Hollywood.

His breakthrough came with the role of the Jimmie " The Rocket " Zara in the third part of the Disney Channel film High School Musical 3: Senior Year, in which he starred alongside Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale a major role. His standard German dubbing voice is the core of Tobias.

Since 2009 he has been in a relationship with actress Sarah Hyland.
