Sarah Hyland

Sarah Hyland (born 24 November 1990 New York City, New York ) is an American actress and a child actress.

Life

Sarah Hyland was born in New York. Her father is the actor Edward James Hyland and her brother is the actor Ian Hyland.

Her first role was five years old in the film Private Parts. This was followed by a role in the film Annie as Molly and in the NBC series Lipstick Jungle as Maddie Healy. On Broadway, she starred in 2006 in the musical Grey Gardens, the role of the young Jackie O.

Since 2009 she has been seen in the role of Haley Dunphy on the ABC mockumentary Modern Family.

She is since 2009 a relationship with actor Matt Prokop and engaged since 2011.
