Matt Redman

Matt Redman ( born 1974 in Watford ) is an English songwriter and worship leader. Many of his songs (such as The Heart of Worship, Blessed Be Your Name, Once Again ) be - sung in church services around the world and performed at several of Michael W. Smith and Rebecca St. James gecovert - in the original or in translation. Many of his newer songs co-written with his wife Beth Redman.

As a teenager, he built on the side of Mike Pilavachi the Soul Survivor organization with on and led worship at the annual Soul Survivor meetings as well as in the Church in Watford.

Redman is also the author of three books on the subject of praise and worship, 'The Unquenchable Worshipper ', ' Face Down ' and ' Blessed Be Your Name '. The latter he co-wrote with his wife Beth.

Matt Redman now lives with his wife Beth and the kids Maisey, Noah, Rocco and Jackson in Burgess Hill ( near Brighton ).
