Matthew Mortensen

Matthew Mortensen ( born December 11, 1985 in Huntington Station) is an American luger.

Matt Mortensen was first appointed to the toboggan - seater. Here he arrived at the Luge World Cup 2005 to 32nd place. His best World Cup result so far has been a twelfth place in the 2006/07 season. Since the 2007/ 08 season Mortensen takes in doubles with Preston Griffall. At the season opener of the World Cup in Lake Placid the double occupied the eighth and gave Mortensen the first time a ranking among the top ten.
