Matthias Breitkreutz

Matthias Breitkreutz ( born May 12, 1971 in Crivitz ) is a former German football player.

He first played in the youth teams of SG Dynamo Schwerin and the BFC Dynamo. In 1991, Breitkreutz joined together with Stefan Beinlich from PFV Bergmann -Borsig for English club Aston Villa. Breitkreutz, becoming the first German professional footballers in the English Premier League. In the season 94/95 Frank Pagelsdorf brought the two German midfielders at that second division club Hansa Rostock, where both as regular player managed to climb to the 1st Bundesliga immediately.

Striking the left-footer was particularly at set pieces, so get him some admirable free-kicks. He likes to be called a "director".

Matthias Breitkreutz marked by genius, but is occasionally under his lack of work or training morality. In total he scored twelve league goals in 116 Bundesliga games.
