Matthias Döschner

Matthias " Atze " Döschner ( born January 12, 1958 in Dohna ) is a former German football player. He played in the DDR - Oberliga and the 2nd Bundesliga. With Dynamo Dresden he was three times football champion and cup winner. For the East German national team, he completed 40 internationals. Later worked as a football coach at unterklassigen clubs.

Matthias Döschner is the son of Dresdner football player Fritz Döschner, who played for the SC Einheit Dresden in the GDR Oberliga.
