Matthias Gohl

Matthias Gohl ( Teese Gohl, Tisse Gohl; * 1956 ) is a native of Switzerland, film music producer and composer.

Gohl produced the soundtracks for numerous films Elliot Goldenthal's ( including Titus, The Butcher Boy, Interview with a Vampire, Heat, Alien ³). In addition, he produced film music by Carly Simon and David A. Stewart and the excellent Oscar- music for the film The Red Violin by John Corigliano.

He composed, among others the music for documentaries by Ken Burns ( The West, Frank Lloyd Wright) to Mickey Lemles Ram Dass, Fierce Grace, Alex Halpern Nine Good Teeth and the television series Little Einsteins. In 2004 he wrote for the Munich Radio Orchestra, the Music For a Film to Be Done. In 2005 he was on Broadway: The American Musical for an Emmy Award ( Outstanding Music Direction) nominated.
