Matthias Kröger

Matthias Kröger ( born May 24, 1969 in Bokel ) is a German motorcycle track racer on Speedway and long paths.

Life

By his uncle and his cousin Timm Kroeger, who was himself a successful B- license driver, Matthias Kröger came to train sport. Because of his long hair, he was nicknamed " mats ". He began his career in 1985 in the J- license and rose over the National B License 1986, 1987, 1988 in the International license class. Kroger's career was the late 80s and early 90s interrupted by a car accident and a racing accident in the Australian tour in 1992, so he had to take into account an eight-week hospital stay in Australia.

Kroger was five long-track team world champion, finished in 3rd place in the 2000 Long Track World Cup Grand Prix, started for Germany in the 2002 Speedway World Cup and in 2003 was grass track championship third parties. National Kröger are on the long course of three and two Vice Speedway Championships to book. In addition to the German Speedway League ( for the MSC Brokstedt ), Kroger had engagements in the leagues of Poland, England, Denmark and Sweden. Kroger is also a sought after engine tuner in the web sports scene.

He is married and has one son. His father is the former German world-class track racer Hans -Otto Pingel.
