Matti Lehikoinen

Matti Lehikoinen ( born April 19, 1984 in Espoo, Finland) is a Finnish professional mountain biker.

At the age of four years, the Finn had his first mountain bike. Before 1998, he began to go downhill, Lehikoinen raced in the disciplines of Cross Country and Road. In 2006 he won the World Cup in Brazil. His favorite tracks are Kalpalinna (Finland ), Whistler (Canada) and Schladming ( Austria ). Matti Lehikoinen drove together with Brendan Fairclough, Greg Minnaar and, when the Santa Cruz Syndicate team is since 2008 under contract to the team G Cross Honda. After its dissolution in late 2007 he was taken in MS Intense Racing under contract.
