Summit of Maukspitze
The Maukspitze is a 2231 m above sea level. A. high peaks in the Kaiser mountains in the Northern Limestone Alps.
Location
The Maukspitze represents the easternmost peak independent of the Kaiser Mountains dar. To the east of the crest of the Niederkaiser follows, the west borders the Maukspitze to the Ackerlspitze. To the south falls the Maukspitze steep and schrofig (low chairs, high chairs), some with vertical wall steps into Leukental to St. Johann in Tirol from. To the north the Maukspitze breaks also steeply to Kaiserbachtal.
Routes
Due to its exposed location, the Maukspitze is a popular vantage summit, however, is easily accessible from either side. The easiest ascent is from the Wochenbrunneralm in the south via low chair and south-east (I). The Maukspitze is also accessible on a via ferrata of the Ackerlspitze. As a starting point provides in any case, the Ackerl hut. Furthermore, there are many climbing routes of varying degrees of difficulty.
